Brook Road Academy is the college-prep school with a difference. We are small. In fact, our enrollment is limited to no more than 50 students in grades 7 through 12. What does that mean? Quite simply, it means that we can give each student the individual attention that he or she needs to excell in school. Each of our teachers has been at Brook Road Academy for at least five years (and some for ten), so they know how to encourage each student become more engaged with their academic career. Another benefit is that our small school size helps us create an environment where each child feels more secure about who they are. Our goal is to give each child the self-confidence and self-esteem they need to thrive in college and in life. Our small size also means that we can devote extra attention to help students with mild learning disabilities and even disabilties such as Asperger's Syndrome and ADHD.
